About a class of linear positive operators

In this paper we construct a class of linear positive operators (Lm)m≥1 with the help of some nodes. We study the convergence and we demonstrate the Voronovskaja-type theorem for them. By particularization, we obtain some known operators. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 41A10, 41A25, 41A35, 41A36.

On some fuzzy positive and linear operators

The purpose of this work is to show that fuzzy Bernstein-Stancu operators introduced in [3] satisfy an A-statistical version of fuzzy Korovkin theorem. Some properties of these operators are also proved. An example of new fuzzy positive and linear operators is presented.

Uniform weighted approximation by positive linear operators

We characterize the functions defined on a weighted space, which are uniformly approximated by a sequence of positive linear operators and we obtain the range of the weights which can be used for uniform approximation. We, also, obtain an estimation of the remainder in terms of the usual modulus of continuity. We give particular results for the Szász-Mirakjan and Baskakov operators. Mathematics...

Subspace-diskcyclic sequences of linear operators

A sequence ${T_n}_{n=1}^{infty}$ of bounded linear  operators on a separable infinite dimensional Hilbert space $mathcal{H}$ is called subspace-diskcyclic with respect to the closed subspace $Msubseteq mathcal{H},$ if there exists a vector $xin mathcal{H}$ such that the disk-scaled orbit ${alpha T_n x: nin mathbb{N}, alpha inmathbb{C}, | alpha | leq 1}cap M$ is dense in $M$. The goal of t...

The Umd Constants of the Summation Operators

Abstract. The UMD property of a Banach space is one of the most useful properties when one thinks about possible applications. This is in particular due to the boundedness of the vector-valued Hilbert transform for functions with values in such a space. Looking at operators instead of at spaces, it is easy to check that the summation operator does not have the UMD property. The actual asymptoti...
